The quality of urban areas has been decreased due to the growth of science and technology, the invention of the automobile and unorganized expansion of the cities, leading to the lack of human-centered spaces. In the present study, after reviewing the concepts and theories related to the walkways, a Case Study (Chizar district) has been discussed. The data collection and the statistical sample selection was done using questionnaire technique and Cochran formula, respectively. Finally, by using the factor analysis technique using SPSS it was concluded that there was a significant relation between the functional and aesthetic parameters and obtaining pedestrian paths in Chizar district, between Upper Hashemi and Kalhori streets.</p>
